“Feeling angry is wrong.”

This is something most of us learned somewhere along the way in our lives—particularly when it comes to the work setting.

Except it’s complete BS.

Feeling angry isn’t wrong. Neither is feeling annoyed, aggravated, frustrated, or any other emotion in that zip code.

Our emotions are a primal system for our performance as human beings and they have essential information for us.

The problems come in when we speak from our emotions, rather than speaking FOR our emotions.

When we’re speaking from our emotions, we often show victim, villain, or martyr behaviors.

When we speak for our emotions, we demonstrate leader behaviors.

It’s a massive difference and one worth learning!
