Performance Conversations = Your Chance to Champion

1 minute read

So many managers dread or procrastinate conducting performance reviews with their team members. Remember that these don’t have to be big-hairy-overly-serious conversations!

Your team members want this essential information on their performance. They want to be successful, and to keep growing. You have the privilege of being one of the most important champions in their corner. That includes sharing useful, honest evaluations and observations—not just rainbows and unicorns.

When you’re communicating where they are on track or off track in their performance, be enthusiastic and show your confidence in them. You might be surprised how enjoyable and rewarding these conversations can be!
