Showing Up For Yourself

2 minute read

Choose what you want to do—and more importantly, how you want to be—starting right now. Decide what you DON’T want to do, and prioritize what you REALLY want to do. The more you do this, the more the “grey area” in the middle will shrink, the more you will focus on what matters to you, and you will show up for yourself by deciding how to live your life.

It’s that simple. Yet so many people live in Autopilot carrying one day to the next day to the next month to the next year to the next decade. The color has mostly washed out of their lives and they aren’t as happy as they can be.

What happened yesterday doesn’t restrict you unless you decide to let it. The options for learning have never been greater. Where you are every moment is only your starting point for the future. We can’t change the past…it’s only your springboard for where you want to go.

This takes effort because it’s a far more intentional way of living. Yet you’re choosing how you are with those who matter most to you.

The great news is that you will quickly become comfortable Saying No to things that aren’t important right now, to you. They may be important later, or never. You decide.

How are you deciding to show up for yourself today?
